3D Chess Set

This is a chess set that I modeled using Maya 8. Not too much to it other that the wood grain for the table top is incredibly ugly looking. But I feel that I did a pretty good job with all of the pieces.

I found that I really like using Maya, it is a fun 3D program. I currently have a class right now that is covering the texturing and lighting. It isn't too advanced, but it is pretty cool to learn how to make things look almost real.
